Ears in the right position.

For children and adults. A short procedure under local anaesthesia, with no visible scar. Otoplasty corrects prominent or asymmetric ears. It can be done from age 7.

What it is

What is otoplasty?

Otoplasty corrects the ears through an incision behind the ear (hidden). Most cases address:

  • Prominent ears - the most common concern
  • Asymmetric ears - one more pronounced than the other
  • Overly large ears (macrotia)
  • Correction after trauma

It can be done in children over 7 (when the ear cartilage is fully developed). In adults, it is always possible.
